Ann Coulter is SMOULDERING. She knows what she wants. And how to git it.

And the gittin' ist gut.

Anne C, call me. I have a Beemer und a Benz.

Confused ... don't suppose it's her well-developed Adam's apple that turns you on is it?

Anne Coulter's Adam's apple (and capitalizing 'Adam' is just wrong, in my opinion) is no more prominent than, say, Sandra Bullock's.

AC > SB

(That works on so many levels, btw. For example, air-conditioning is better than a saint bernard. I don't think even red dawg would dispute that. And notice how I didn't capitalize neither 'saint' nor 'bernard'? I got Annie's back like a mutha. Reckonize!)

PS - Alaskan crab > stale beer

Okay, point taken (and I appreciate your employment of logic, so rare thesedays). However it seems in your haste for glory, you failed to account for a few other extraneous variables such as ass-cream (a compound noun?) and it's frequent complement silent brunches. It's as if I've stumbled upon a kind of a "logical phallacy"[sic]... and at that I suspect even Zeno the not-so-ambiguously gay pre-Socratic thinker of Greek antiquity would wince in recalcitrant accord.

Your attempts were not all in vain though, as I should confess, that upon further (albeit reluctant) consideration, the idea of chafing against her laryngeal prominence could be kinda hot. But only if she were to gag in in surprised approval over the houdini followup (cuz that would be ironic). I think I'd rather just hear about it than actually do it though (her Y-chromosome factor still whigs me out)...

...it's been so much fun typing this, I can already feel the salad days coming on...

PS salacious Bohemian > Anti-Christ > salmon berries -- a logical compromise, as it were.

I'm really surprised how difficult it is for some of you to understand my point. I guess you hate Ann Coulter so much, you can't even fathom the thought of treating her fairly. Just dying to see her get caught in a web. I guess because she's usually so quick and on her game that she makes one petty mistake and you all go wild? Are you the same people who stood up and gave a round of applause in the theater after watching Fahrenheit 9/11? Btw, I truly dislike that woman and think she does nothing but damage political discourse in the US. I wish she would retire.

Treat her fairly? I think she gave up the right to expect that a long time ago with the way she plays the game. And yes I do think it`s significant that she didn`t know this basic fact of history. She is a political pundit, and therefore she is supposed to be deeply familiar with the facts of political history at least as far back as the 20th century. You have to be highly informed to be credible, otherwise any old person could get up and be a political commentator.

So you expect her to be able to instantly recall every single significant fact of the 20th century while under pressure in an interview?

Okay..

Well, I don't expect her to be like a mastermind contestant on 20th C history, but she brought it up. It's a basic fact too. I do think people who put themselves forward as political pundits should know thier history, don't you? It kind of shows you're taking the thing seriously.

Well, at least you admit now that it was significant. Previously, you said it was "petty."

Most of the arguments in favour of her seem to suggest that Canada is incapable of significant action of any kind and that we should be happy that she's even heard of us.

The point the interviewer is trying to make, I think, is that Canada's divergence of interests with America's goes back farther than she thinks. We haven't just decided not to follow the Americans recently, we decided that as far back as Vietnam. It's not just a reaction to Bush, Jr.; it's something that has been in the works for a long time.

If she is going to slander us and call us names, we will pick her apart on historical facts.

So what you're saying is that if you are talking to someone and they suddenly fall on the ground and start yelling out 'poopy pants! poopy head!' that you are justified in doing the same? That's the long-winded version of this succint saying: two wrongs don't make a right.

True, but in what other field do you expect a 100% accuracy rating from someone? Hmm.. how about none? We all make mistakes. It's impossible to know everything.

Yep. Like I said, I really don't like her at all. I wish she would retire.

Say you get into a street fight. You have a knife in on you, but you really dont want to use it because you feel it's wrong, but you have it there for safety. Then the other guy brings out a knife and starts attacking you. Do you bring out the knife?

yeah, it's one of the funnier pieces of online writing I've ever read. And it's well-written as well.
