Howdy,

I went lookin for books yesterday in Itaewon, and I found What the Book with no problem. However, Abby's Book Nook eluded me. I feel like I was in the right place ... I went upstaris at Gecko Garden and was right in front of the Big Electric Cat ... but no book nook.

Anyway, I am posting to ask if I am a poor navigator or if Abby's is no more.

Thanks all.

(also, I am looking for a copy of Henry Miller's Tropic of Cancer if anyone has one burdening them =) )

Hi, Abby's is no more. The owner has married and moved to Denmark.

I haven't been in the area for a bit to confirm, but does anyone know if Itaewon Foreign Bookstore is still around?

I guess it's round two for her and her daughter Abby.

Indeed. I wish them all the best for a happy new life. I'm sure gonna miss that store, though.

I think it's great. They (the mother and the kid) are nice people.

Hmm. that sucks. It was definitely the best location of the three of them, and in some ways the most comfortable.

And they were putting together a little coffee area. Very cool, sitting with a book and drinking coffee near an open window.

I like rhyming book store names like "The Book Nook."
