My brother just sent me a package containing a set of collectible model soldiers. I've managed to find glue and an exacto-knife to assemble them as well as paint brushes. However, I can't seem to find paints! Any ideas?

I need to find plastic-safe primer/undercoat and a water soluble paint (not latex).

Hey,

I know that you can get everything you need to paint models in Yongsan. When you walk from the subway station to the electronics building there, you should notice a huge building with a Gundam (I'll assume that you know what Gundam is) poster hanging on it. You should be able to find paints, primers, sealers, brushes...everything in that building easily.

"Dream Depot" in the Express Bus Station Terminal/Central City complex (Orange line, 339) exit 7 go up stairs, you see Shinsegae (?) Dept. store at one end and "Dream Depot" is at the opposite end - it's a huge stationary store with all kinds of arts and craft supplies ...

there's a model/hobby shop between Ewha station and Shinchon station on the North side of the road. I believe it is just past the Mirabeau Hotel, but haven't been by there in a while so I could be off on the exact location.

son works on remote control cars and gets his stuff from a hobby shop in Seoul somewhere...can find out where he goes...

They have all kind of model supplies, paint tools etc, and all sorts of kits from figures through to military vehicles and radio controlled stiff.

the ALPHA craft supply store in namdaemun. 5 stories and craft supplies. there's an entire section of model stuff. it's near all the camera stores in namdaemun. i get there by walking straight from exit 7 of city hall station until you see all the camera signs. it's nestled in there, yellow sign.
