Sir Elton John has said he would like to see all organised religion banned and accused it of trying to "turn hatred towards gay people".
Organised religion lacked compassion and turned people into "hateful lemmings", he told the Observer. |

Along with trouble spelling separation, you have trouble in reading comprehension too?
The term separation of church and state is not in the constitution, and in fact is a fallacy repeated over and over again in an attempt to fool those who don't know any better. |
Well not exactly in the constitution, however the bill of rights and the amendments are considered to be the constitution.
The actual term separation of church and state is not found.
However the First Amendment states:
"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free practice thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press, or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances."
Ratified Dec. 15, 1791
How this constitutes "Separation of church and state" may be open to debate, but seems to have been excepted as just that throughout our splendid history.
I have no opinion just adding a log to the fire.

Let me ensure you, Sir, that no amount of crusading will (not)* change a straight person into a "raving homosexual." Nor does a sermon of how evil homosexuality is change a homosexual person into a heterosexual one. Why? Because you do not get to choose your own sexual preference.
*EDIT: Sorry about that double negative! My bad.

There appears to be a double negative in the above sentence.
Some may take the context and not understand the intent.
Or just maybe..............
