| THX, I'll give it a whirl. But I have to admit I'm not really all that concerned to DL from youtube though since you can save links to the ones you like, index using the favorites folders, email the links, etc. |

And it seems to be working, downloading from
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G0i3z4G8RAg
right now.
Once I figure out how to convert FLV to mpeg or avi I'll be watching videos on the MP3 player. |

Using Firefox, you can install an extension called "unplug" which will allow you to save any embedded video object from any site to your computer.
Then, you can convert it to whatever you want, but chances are that it will already be either an AVI, MPEG, or WMV filetype, so conversion won't be necessary, unless you have filetype restricitons on a device that you want to play the files on. |
