| I just heard from my co-worker that trying to go to MN around the 23rd may be hopeless. Can anyone confirm this? |

23 of NOV or DEC???
You can still get tix to LA / SF / SeaTAC / Chicago for Christmas but the domestic side is probably either prohibitively expensive or not available.
You may have to try the airline sites directly. Korean agents are bad for NOT looking at alternatives beyond KAL or Asianna.
Routing through HongKong, Singapore, Taiwan is often available when Korean agents tell you there are NO flights.
Look at:
Cathay, Silk air, EVA, China Air, JAL, All Nipon, Northwest, AA. |

I never heard of a lot of Korean people trying to get to Minnesota for the Christmas holidays.
But I agree with the above poster.. get any flight to North America.. and look for a domestic flight.
There is one famous discount airline out of MPLS.. not sure the name of it.. but tons of domestic discount airlines now days all over the U.S. - JetBlue, Southwest, AirTran, USAIR, ATA, Frontier, Spirit, etc. |

| Thanks for the help. It looks like I'll leave on the 16th instead. It's ok, because I'll be quitting the hagwon I'm at anyway. If this were my vacation, I think I'd be out of luck. |

I think the airline is called Sun Country. I agree with the other posters. Try to get a ticket to the US (most probably to one of the West Coast hubs or Chicago) and then take a domestic flight from there. I would also try Northwest. |
