Am thinking of moving to a job in Seoul.

I will be paying rent on an apartment if I take the job so...

a. are 1 bed apartments easy to find?
b. what should I be looking at paying on a monthly basis - one bed or sharing?
c. is 10,000,000 won key money enough?

Have searched for threads, to no avail, so any info you may have will be of great help.

If you post the area you plan to live in you will get more accurate answers. I live in Nowon-gu (Northeast Seoul), and for 10 mil down, you can easily find a place for around 400,000/month, perhaps a bit less, depending on your standards.

I don't know yet - just starting my research.

Seodaemun and Itaewon have been suggested as possible areas, so any comments on these areas/recommendations etc all welcome.

By the way, for 400,000 would you need to share?

Not in my area, not sure about Itaewon, though but I think it's possible.

10,000,000 key money will get you just about any place you need (officetel, villa etc) and you won't pay more than 400,000 a month unless you're in an upscale area.

In Itaewon you can find places for 5 million key and 400k rent, easily. Much less if you want to live in Haebongchon (near Noksapyeong st)

No sharing involved.

I would recommend Seodaemun personally. You're very close to Shinchon, Hongdae, Jong-no.

Itaewon is fine if you need to be around a lot of westernized stuff but its a pain in the ass to travel in and out of Itaewon (time wise).
