Jennifer Connely with another woman, and its still the most depressing montage in history.

Good thing I actually read others posts, for once, before posting. This movie is really terribly depressing. Donkey-sized dildos hurt feelings too.

I still don't understand why people find this movie so depressing. MTV does drugs...poor kids.

The most depressing movie in the world is called "Kolya." Needless to say, it's Russian. I was fooled into watching it by its lighthearted cover art. Be warned.

to neni rusky, to bylo cech.....

Meaning, you didn't watch it very well..........and not depressing unless you bring that mindset along with you.

Now, Breaking the Waves was DEPRESSING. And it wasn't Russian either.

Train of Life (Train de vie). One of the best movies ever made on so many levels in my opinion, but so depressing. Don't watch it alone because you'll want to discuss it and if you do you'll spoil it for anyone else.

There was also a Mexican movie I saw at a film festival and I can't for the life of me remember what it was called. It was about the extreme corruption of an honest politician. Starts off running for the good of his community, gets power hungry, and becomes the typical Mexican politician. Anyone know the name?

Someone mentioned Kolya before.

I also find Canadian Bacon depressing because so much of it is true.
