This was one of my favorite parts of the movie.
Egg shen prepares a potion (which is obviously a drug) for Jack Burton and his crew before the go into the final big battle.
The sceen in the elevator is classic. |

What are your feelings about Kurt Russell? He's been in some fine movies such as Escape From New York, The Thing, Big Trouble in Little China, and Captain Ron.
I watched The Thing and Big Trouble in Little China last night. He has a lot of classic roles, but I notice he's never mentioned alongside guys such as Pacino or DeNiro. Why? Because of his choice of roles? Or is he not as great an actor? |
The Miracle was a film in which Russell played a great role as Herb Brooks.
He did a great job.
That's all.

Whatever. Just put Kurt Russell in it. (And not in a cameo role!)
While you're here: I once broke up with a girl in high school because she called Kurt Russell "Kirk Russell." That sh*t's inexcusible. |

I don't know about all this remake jazz: I'm willing to grant that it may be a good (great, even) movie and all, but no Carpenter, no Russell? Sounds like some studio execs are heading for nothing but a pimp slap.

Oddly enough, I too have experienced the damage an ignorance of the 'Russ' can cause to a relationship, but it occurred during college. Educated woman, my ass. |
