Then they should not be pushing policy that affects the lives and choices of everyone. |
Presenting an option is not a crime: your right to choose either way is totally unnnafected. |
For the time being.

I used to swim with them all the time back in the bayou. Used to paddle boats around gators too.
I never felt so shit-all proud to go bragging about it with strangers.
It really has nothing to do with nothing. (double-negative police, take me away.) Certainly nothing to do with teachers in Korea.
All that is is HEY, OVER HERE, LOOK AT ME OVER HERE!!! I SO CRAZY, I PLAY SNAKES!!!
Why don't you go away? |
Did either of you guys ever have any nutria gumbo? I had it once during my seminary days in New Orleans. Not too bad...

BTW, Chop-Jae Joe is certainly no Coon-Ass.
I'm not saying he's a bad dude. He's probably a much better man than me.
But he's too serious. God's never invented a serious Coon-Ass. We're all pretty much a laid-back laughing bunch.
I think chop-jae is a tourist--no offense to him. |

What's a Liberal? Most of us are pretty conservative, doing the same things over and over, monotonous creatures really, eating the same foods, going the same places, thinking the same thoughts.
Can a Liberal be a Christian too? |

Liberals seem to equate Christianity with stupidity.
And they seem to go out of their way to be rude and disrespectful to Christians every chance they get.
I can't--for the life of me--figure it out.
This board is filled with liberals. Someone enlighten me.
It's ok if you want to be rude. I'm used to it. |
I just find the concept of an entity that puts his hand into day-to-day affairs, based on praying, merit, beliefs to be absurd. I do believe in a God. One who created the Universe, and that's it. Perhaps keeps enerrgy among living things swirling around, but granting wishes and so forth like Alibaba's genie or something, come on. |

Built your son that tree house yet? I don't quite follow your logic. You're no longer in Korea or in ESL. You're working as a trucker. You have a wife and child. But you spend your time doing battle with people thousands of miles away, engaging in school yard antics ("The Kimchipot sucks and Chiaa-Punk is a paranoid meanie!").
You've claimed you're doing this to protect your child from future scum bags, although I'm certain there are things you can do with your time that will more directly, positively affect and protect your child. Doesn't LA have sexual predators? Maybe you could work to keep them behind bars.
Let it go. Be with your family. Korea is behind you. Sorry people here made you feel small. |
well said, bill needs to get a friggin life instead of trolling this site.
then again hes been banned from all the big sites |
Thanks for caring.
But my hobbies are my own concern.
Blogging sure beats hanging out at message parlors in Thailand.
By the way, luv the fact that you guys brought back the mongers section.
I see some fertile ground in the future. |
Let it go. You're acting like the guy who graduated high school but keeps hanging out outside of his old high school, in his rocked out car, trying to re-live his high school days. Why do you keep trying to re-fight all these battles? I would like to think the demands of raising a boy, working, and doing good for a wife would occupy my time.
Spend time with your boy. You call this a hobby but is this a hobby you would sit down with your boy and enjoy together? "Look, son, see how I make fun of these guys banging prostitutes? When you grow up, don't bang prostitutes."
"Daddy, what does 'Shaving my beanbag' mean?"
"Well, son, some men like to shave their ball sack."
"Daddy, what's a ccksucker?"
"It's a man who places another man's tinkle in his mouth."
You're doing nothing profitable here or on your site for your family. You already have people threatening to harass your wife on the phone. These are pathetic individuals, certainly. And you have claimed you're big enough to deal with them and I have no doubt you're capable of dealing with them offline. But did you ask your wife? Does she deserve even one phone call from some psycho you've stirred up? Is she capable of handling that?
Find a real hobby and be a real man. |

Um, Big Bill, (Otis) I think you just start a thread here every once in a while only to allow a clickable link to your itty-bitty blog down there in your sigline ... maybe I'm wrong, but I don't think so.
And, of course, by pointing it out, I'm sure you'll get a few more hits, so now you can call me a friend, I guess.

For the past year at least, the CE Forum has been fiilled to the brim with the most virulent hate-spewing bigots of every stripe, disguising their poison under the cover of the exact same politically-correct notion of tolerance that they themselves abhor.
Though they themselves are not the sorts to love free speech, judging by the behavior they display towards those of us reasonable enough to disagrree with them, trhey are welcome to it, here or anywhere else. Perhaps if they are allowed to look at their thoughts as expressed, tyhere will cme a day when they see how very stupid the things they are, how very unlikely their ideas are to make the world better ...
Ever notice how many bigots are conservatives, how many are attracted there instead of elsewhere? Ever wonder what it might be about that particular ideology that draws them?
I don't get you when you say there are too many liberals around here. There ain't nearly enough. Those of us that yet exist have found other places to say what we can to do what benefit we might think is possible in the world, and maybe we just stop by here occasionally.
And the recent elections in the US have something to say about the health of conservatism at the presenty moment.
You, sir otis, have yet to have shown yourself capable of being taken seriously.
Yes, I think I can say that with confidence. |
If liberals think that their countrymen are of more importance than people in other countries, or for that matter feel that the reputation of their country is worth more than hundreds of thousands of lives (again from people in other countries) then prehaps that's a good thing "There ain't nearly enough." liberals around here. That's rather xenophobic and bigoted thinking...interestingly the very things you accuse conservatives on here of. A number of psychologists have noted we are quickest to accuse other people of the faults we see in us. |

I am really worried about my wife! That phone call could spell her doom!
The next thing you know, she'll be doing splits on the bed for free blog time.
I'll work on that being a man thing. By the way, how was class today? Did you give the kiddies a star for saying apple properly?
All I did today was drive two massive spools down a hurricane ravaged road with bayous on both sides. Damn! I feel like such a puss. I really just want to cry, but the tears make my mascara run.
I wish I could be manly like you. |

A man is someone who does something his son can be proud of, who devotes his time to his family, and doesn't put his family in danger to carry on school yard fights he should have left behind when he turned in his ARC at exit customs. Let it go. Be a man. Build your son a tree house instead of web sites that obsess on the dirty sex people are having on the other side of the planet. |
