What's this?!
Fresh limes? Dried cranberries? Dill pickles? REAL bagels? REAL cheesecake? Cranberry juice? REAL American bacon? At least a hundred different bottles of wine? Packages of tortillas? A few different types of jalapenos?
And you don't have to buy a huge amount of everything like you would at Costco.
I mourned the passing of Carrefour, but now I'm not so sure....however, will it last? |

The Homever that replaced the Carrefour in Cheong-Ju sucks floppy donkey ballz. Is it me or did the prices increase since they took over?
The Homeplus that opened here a few months ago is solid. They have every different kind of Cambells soup imaginable, Bullseye BBQ sauce, a couple different kinds of dill pickles, jalapenos....
They also have cheap white rum. |

Dill pickles in the "foreign food" section (next to all the Campbells soups), and the limes were snuggled in next to some mangoes. Oh, and I bought the lime juice too!! |

What's the big deal with dill pickles? I got a massive jar of delicious dills from Costco for about 5,000.
Also got 2 huge bottles of Thai chili sauce, with no hydrogenated/corn syrup (Heinz has). 2 bottles for 5,600.
But, my bottles of Corona are screaming for a lime, so will have to drop by and check it out. |

Same with mine. The prices went up while the store went down-market.
Nice one. |
