I was less than pleased. They came into our school, started barging into classrooms while teachers were teaching. It just bothers me that they can disrupt our work at their convinience, but when you want them to help you out, it takes forever to get some things done.
I know they have the right, just as any immigration office around the world has the right, but it just bothers me how they can come in and bully you around.
They left, all is well, just had to vent. |

Better than even Western countries and muslims. I am curious. Why did they do that? They do not get off their lazy asses and target a Westerner employing place without good cause. |

Why? Who knows why. I can speculate. So here goes. I had a teacher pull a runner a month ago. He worked for us for a year and a half, and upped and left one day. (I never understood it, because if he was un-happy why re-sign. He was a friend of mine, hung out a lot. He complained, but wasn't being mistreated.)
Also, some of my teachers' visas are coming to an end. One had to extend for 1 week, which he did. One re-signed for 3 more months.
Other than that, I have no idea. |

It amazes me.
It sounds exactly like back home where lots of illegal Mexicans are running for cover when INS is storming in. |

Certain big schools will give Immi some money so that they'll know exactly what day they're coming. |

What are the names of the schools that are having problems with illegal teachers/immigration? That's a "STAY AWAY" alert. |

One time at my hogwan, they knew immi was coming. So they made the illegal teachers teach class on the roof! Thats right. They didn't cancel class, they just had it on the roof. Why the hell would immi tell them when they are coming? |

So the secretary can scamper down to the ATM, return, and have the green tea ready by the time they get there? Bribing Immi boyz isn't exclusively an ESL thang, this thread belongs on General Forum. |
