and no I'm not being rude.

For a while starbucks had good ones and then they got bad after they seemed to stop putting butter in them.

At the moment the dunkin donuts ones are ok.

But where is a good place for a muffin and semi-decent cup of coffee.

Starbucks pumpkin muffins rock, but I haven't had one in awhile.... However, if there's no butter, there's no point Mr. Green

they were good, but they have gradually decreased the amount of butter in the recipe

Best muffins? I'd try a hotel...like a hotel cafe or something. Hmm...this has started me thinking. Maybe I'll go on a tasty muffin search.

I'll second the comments about Costco and *$$: their muffins are good, but not great. The same goes for Coffee Bean (but these aren't even as good).

Along with the best muffin search, does anyone know of a place to get bagels--real bagels--anywhere?

I've been eating the E-Mart "bagels" but they are no more than round dinner rolls with thick crust and a hole in the middle. Deceptive advertising, I tells ya'!

Also, I've had the Costco "bagels", but those are about the same. Is there anyplace with real...I guess they'd be called New York style...bagels?

The best banana muffins I've had in Seoul are at the Marche in Gangnam. Just tell the hostess you want "pojang" and they'll give you a special ticket. I still like to bring them into Starbucks once in a while and watch the patrons eye me jealously. They've gotten a lot smaller recently but for 1500 they're still better than the shit I've had elsewhere.
