We're the only one's who allow ourselves to be "dragged in". If you don't think a post is worth your time responding to, then don't respond. If you DO respond to it, whose fault is that? If the poster uses bad words that might make the ESL community look like a bunch of overgrown frat boys, let the mods deal with it. I see no need for banning if all the guy does is convince people to argue with him. |

I think the fellow will settle down or go just as others have. I think when people are new to this or any forum, they cant really discern the other posters and the relationship between them and thus only look for, or see posters who hold contrary views to his/her own.
I think he has assumed that everyone here has some kind of problem or is whining about Korea, but doesn't realize that he is only scratching the surface of many posts, thinks that they are whining when they are actually discussing and examining a Korean cultural phenomenon. He either isn't very bright, isn't a reader or he's just too angry and wants to find a punchbag for his rage.
I feel a bit sorry for him, that's all. He might be lonely and feeling as though there is some global conspiracy against him. |

I think if we clip the claws of this forum it will be become very dull. I say don't ban, let everyone go at it and mods follow thier conscience regarding individual posts.
The passionate debates here are what makes it interesting, and they force you to formulate your own beliefs a little more rigorously than before. |
