Alice's Restaurant

The former church where Alice and Ray lived and where the story begins; the restaurant itself is roughly six miles north in Stockbridge, Massachusetts.

"Alice's Restaurant Massacree" (commonly referred to simply as "Alice's Restaurant") is singer-songwriter Arlo Guthrie's most famous work, a talking blues based on a true story that began on Thanksgiving Day 1965, and which inspired a 1969 movie. The song lasts 18 minutes and 20 seconds, occupying the entire A side of Guthrie's 1967 debut record album, titled Alice's Restaurant (Warner Reprise Records). It is notable as a satirical, first-person account of 1960s counterculture, in addition to being a hit song in its own right. [/url]

Happy Thanksgiving!

The only guy I know in town is Canadian, so he celebrated a while back. Yeah, it feels weird today; I hope that a few of my demon kids aren't themselves today. I would like a peaceful holiday.

I should bring a crap-load of my American candy to my classes. Near the end, I should explain Thanksgiving and then only hand out the candy to the good kids.

I wish I knew some places to eat in town. I'd like something that's not Korean.
