Ahhhh...perhaps my 3 month claim was a bit too rash. Damn you for reminding me. I did eat fishy stuff when I first touched down, but only a couple of times and I have been back on the wagon a while now.
In the end, we'll see if I have the urge to keep it up or not. |

I don't give a hoot if I'm normal or not. That's just a problem for those unfortunates who are forced to interact with me -it's not a concern of mine.
I've mostly been an ovo-lacto-vegetarian since I was 14 (having discovered the horrors of factory farming). Since then, I've only eaten meat a few times, for example when I journeyed horseback through Northern Mongolia (I didn't want to offend my hosts when I supped with them in their ghers, as in their culture it's very important to accept food) and once in China when a friend's mum (who was very poor) had paid a considerable sum of money for a chicken especially to put on a splendid feast in my honour.
Unfortunately, I do find myself eating fish from time to time, as a compromise. I used to consider that OK, because at least the fish had had a nice life swimming in the wilderness before he got the chop. Nowadays I'd rather not, however, as I've become more aware of the serious problems (both ethical and environmental) with regard to large scale commercial fishing. Left to myself, I probably wouldn't consume eggs or dairy products either. There are a whole lot of issues associated with procuring those products on an industrial scale, that I wasn't aware of as a teenager. But I'm married to a meateater and he's the cook, so that's our compromise - for now. |

It was funny, I was just shocked that someone would even say it in jest.
Dude, people are not going to respect you around here unless you are hostile to me. It's like saying you like Psychedelic Kimchi--that just pisses people off.
And holy crap!! There's another one.
Dudes, you need to watch your backs around here... |

I only eat animals that only eat vegetables, so.. quasi vegetarian here.
I also eat 똥돼지, which are pigs that feed on human excrement, every single day. This is for ecological purposes, similar to what Delirium's Brother has said. |

so does everyone else. Carnivores are not regularly eaten due to I've been told bad flavor. |
