Hi there.

Didn't know you could send texts internationally until I read your post. Do you mind telling me how to do it?

Cheers

You can also send them through skype (much easier type) and probably much cheaper.

Hey Novernae,

Skype is the internet-phone thingy, right? (I'm a bit of a technophobe as you can probably guess).... If it is, I don't have it unfortunately.

Do you know what the 0700 number is? Also - if you can send international texts, can you receive them too?

Thanks

Sorry, no idea about the 0700 number . If you have a computer though, I would download skype. All you need is a cheap microphone and speakers, unless you just want to send text messages, then you don't even need that. PM if you want help with it.

Actually you don't need any apparatus except a mic/earpiece set. If you buy a certain amount of minutes, your account will stay on skype and you can plug in and use it on any computer in the PC bang. You don't even need to keep going to the same computer. So your skype account will 'float' just like any online email account. And it only takes a minute or two to download it.

I bought a tiny mic/earpiece set for 8 bucks back in Toronto. It looks like a bluetooth earpiece but it has wires to go to the audio on the computer.

Well I have Skype but I like the freedom to send messages when i'm away from my puter. Yes you can send text messages. I used to just reply to the ones my friends would send, but I figured out i just put in 007001(area code) number and it worked....i'm just wonderin what this costs me.....
