In your opinion, what are Korea's redeeming features. Increasingly I don't see any. All I see is dirt, pollution, traffic, litter, ugly ugly buildings, and snot on the ground. All I hear is my colleagues eating like neanderthals, then hacking and snorting. what in your opinion are Korea's redeeming factors? Increasingly I'm at a loss to find any.

Help me here.

Where are you from, Bingo?

Chances are, I'll be able to tell you what redeeming features Korea has in comparison to where you're from, which I think is helpful.

Else, please check out any number of pro-Korea threads in the general discussion forum, which is where posts generally on Korea typically go.

It has an airport from which unhappy foreigners can fly home.

Easy to save money here because there are few things for the foreigner to buy.

More respect from employers here compared to ones back home that work you to death.

A common story here is
1) Come to Korea and complain.
2) Go back home and deal with employers back home.
3) Can't wait to come back to Korea. Very Happy

Yup.

Add easy work and galbi restaurants and you've just about got it sewn up.

Oh, yeah. Not that I would be a contributor, but at least that thread had some hair on its original little chest.

What do you guys mean when you use the word Troll?
Webster describes Troll as "a dwarf or giant in Scandinavian folklore inhabiting caves or hills"
How does this apply to posts on Dave's?

'Trolling' (or 'trawling') is also a method of fishing. In a forum context, a troll is someone who fishes for an emotional reaction from other people.
