Lifting up the C in YMCA

Quote:
More branches are showing a spiritual side, with ministry services and Christian rock. For some members, it's just not working out.

"People come to the YMCA hurting," said Reall, who gave up his work as a fitness trainer to run a Christian ministry at the Green Hills Y. "Alcoholism, bulimia, divorce, grief, pornography addiction, loneliness, drug abuse. They're looking for so much more than exercise."

Fans of the Village People might find this statement somewhat amusing.

No man does it all by himself.
I said, young man, put your pride on the shelf,
And just go there, to the y.m.c.a.
I'm sure they can help you today.

Ya-ta, you jumped in too soon!

These lines come right after OTOH's "...good meal"

You can do whatever you feel

Young men, are you listenin' to me?
I said, young men, what do you wanna be?
I said, young men, you can make real your dreams
But you've got to know this one thing

Now let's do this thing right shall we?

Just for a change of pace:

In the Navy, come on now people, make a stand.
In the Navy, can't you see we need a hand.
In the Navy, come on, protect the motherland.
In the Navy, come on and join your fellow man.

Yes, they do. But I'm not ANAL enough, as some other people are, to feel I have to follow literally in other people's footsteps. The theme will do.

Well, then Sodom and Gomorrah might be the place for you!

Quote:
Sodom and Gomorrah
This is the story, of Sodom and Gomorrah.
Two cities that were full, of hatred and lust.
Because their crimes were great.
Because of all their lust.
The Lord decided destruction, was a must.

This is what he said,
(Give me) Give me,
(Fifty good men) just give me fifty good men,
(And I) and I'll, (Spare the whole city)
And I'll spare the whole city.
Give me, forty good men.
To destroy you all, would be a pity.
