I've always been perplexed how a poster just 8 months old can cop such an attitude to others (must be a carry-over from a previous life). As well, to have such a vast knowledge of trolls, socks, etc. I guess when you spend all your time here, you pick these things up.

Flotsam did have a previous identity here, which got lost in an e-mail screw-up.

I agree it's getting annoying, so many accusations of trolls and socks...
I propose we dispense with these often mis-used terms and replace them with something more generic:
how about "asshat"?

there's going to be pr icks and wiseasses on any forum you go to.

however this is the only forum that i've been to where people get flamed just for responding to the topic of the thread. Confused

some people are just unnecessarily rude.

I'm tired of Flotsam calling people names. How do you know they are trolls and not just bad writers? I'm still not convinced that Clandestine isn't real. What bothers me more is the need to call people noob, or noobie. Why be mean to Oreovictim who just joined? What was your problem with Cubanlord? He never posts anymore, just in the tech area. This attitude of post slacker, too hip to be hip, ironic crap is annoying. Who made you the web critic of Dave's? So some people post some boring, trite stuff, ignore it like I do. Frankly I don't want you telling people how boring they are or how new they are, because you're making people not want to post here.
