wow, excelllent movie. Middle age guy named Jim Morris, who went into the pros at a time when everyone else his age were retiring. He only played two seasons with the devil Rays, but he was pitching a consistent 98 mile per hour ball.

my father-in-law had a bit part in the movie, think he was the bullpen coach who tells him he's going in

Didn't he play with some other teams and have a fairly successful career? I'm too tired to search for the answers to my own questions. So, whoever answers the questions gets a beer from Qinella.
