* Some guy was running down the sidewalk at breakneck speed. He was running like someone lit a fire on his arse. I've never seen anyone run like that, except in a movie. He was also yelling obscenties (Chugo sekki!!). Something wasn't right with him upstairs, 'fo 'sho.

* This random guy comes by my cubicle around quitting time maybe every other day, and gives me his car keys. He lives in my apt. complex, and since he goes drinking a lot after work, I just drive his car home and save myself a taxi ride. I don't have a Korean license yet, either Mr. Green Anyway, one day he saw my co-workers and I waiting for a taxi, so he stopped his car, flashed his work ID, and motioned for us to get in. He barely speaks a word of English. He takes us to work now in the mornings, and I drive his car home at night. I've considered taking a trip over to Costco and loading up with groceries, but I don't really know how to get there by car Mr. Green

ok so this wasnt actually recent, it happened almost 3 years ago when i just got here, but it was pretty wierd.

i went out for a night drinking with 2 of my korean co workers, we all had way too much to drink but one of the guys had lost the ability to walk, so my other co worker and my self thre him into the back of a taxi and sent him on his way. i was feeling pretty pleased with myself having outdrunk him, and even more pleased that i could still walk. so i set off to meet some waygook friends of mine and i fell over and pretty much knocked myself out for a second or two..or three..or well you get the picture. i woke up with spiderman kneeling over me peering into my face and then pulling me up to my feet. it my drunken haze the only thing to come to mind to say was 'spider man, is that you?'

dont ask me why some guy was walking around cheongju bar scene in a spiderman costume 3 years ago, but he actually did rescue me

My Hauzen air cleaner about 2:00 a.m. one night two months or so ago emitted some kind of . . uh . . plasma balls ?? !! Yeah, little balls of energy that came popping out the vent and bounced around on the hardwood floor before going audibly "POP" in a bright flash like an old time camera flash and disappearing. Woke me up. Eeriest thing I've ever seen! Left absolutely no trace -- no burn marks, no nothing. Hadn't happened ever in the two years before that I had the machine, and hasn't happened since. The only thing I could figure was that the "ion generator" built a few too many ions and out they came in balls of energy !

(Note: I'm attributing them to the Hauzen air cleaner because that's where they seemed to be originating in the haze of waking up and trying to figure out what the heck was happening / or / maybe because nothing else makes sense! If not the cleaner, then they came from outer space, from the "ether" ! Anyone ever heard of such a phenomenon?)
