I'm flying to M'sia tomorrow and haven't yet had my visa issuance number sent back. I've tried calling the korean embassy in M'sia to ask if they can stamp my passport but can't get an answer. Does anyone know if this is possible or whether you have to be a resident of the country in which you obtain a visa? |

I got my visa in Thailand and I am not a Thai citizen. Many people get their visa in Japan and they are not Japanese. |

I've gotten an E2 in Thailand, Argentina, and Japan. Should be fine as long as the embassy knows what they are doing. Don't think they had EVER given a Korean working visa in Argentina before. That was a pain in the ass. |
