Anyway, I thought all (or some) of you on this thread were friends of his or know him offline. So the cluelessness here surprises me a bit.

| He hasn't posted anything on the Yangpa recently either, has he? It's a pity - this country really, really needs more satire. I can't think of any other country that so needs to have the piss taken out of it. |

Ah, well, i'm downright touched by the stuff in this thread. (sniff)
As some of you know, I was going through a tough time health-wise recently and i couldn't drink and i couldn't really go out much. So I was posting on here a lot, and spending a lot of time checking and rechecking threads and so on. But the real problem was that I started feeling like my posts were getting meaner and more bitter. So decided to take a little break before I alienated everybody. But, if anybody's worried, I'm OK in terms of my health and stuff. I'm not posting much on the Yangpa because I'm just kinda short of ideas. But I'll be in Korea a while yet. So we'll see.
The person I really miss from this board, and Korea in general, is Swiss James. We lost a good one that day. |
