OK You win, Koreans do everything wrong, white people do everything right, that's why the picture of Jesus is white and all white people are deities. Thank You for making me enlightened. And if you don't want to leave, then it's really not as bad as you claim it is, is it??? Or is the reality that you can't make the same money in your country. But you're right, you win, Korean do nothing right, white people do everything right. |
All right now you're just trolling.
I like Korea, I like living here. But as I've mentioned there's one specific aspect of Korean culture that regularly gets my heckles up...
Everything else about this country and the people living in it is fine by me |

And no, we're not leaving.
And yes, we are changing this country for the better. |
Actually this sounds nice. I almost forgot you are a long-termer with your K-family. |

Joonbug has at least two good takes on us.
Here, though, he's overreacting to critics and it shows.
Chill, Joonbug.

Joonbug is a perfect example of what I'm talking about.
"OK. You made your money, now shut up about Korea and go home, foreign devil."
Picture. Perfect. Example.

Koreans accuse English teachers of being "mercenary" or "greedy". We come in, we make our cash, and we send it all home (most of it, anyway) to pay off debts or whatever back in our home countries. In Koreans' eyes, that's wrong (which is why they try to keep tabs on, and limit, the amount you send home). |
Why should the Koreans care? I agree with my dad. In today's world, it's common for people to work overseas. I'm from the U.S., and I never gave a flying fig if I saw a foreigner in America who was trying to make a buck. I have more important things to worry about. |

Koreans complain about their country all the time. Aren't we, as foreigners being culturally sensitive, (doing the Korean thing) when we complain too? |
