What makes you think this?
Not doubting you, just wanting to know what signs to look for. What can be done about it? I have no techie skills. |

| You would be suprised what people do on computers when they think people aren't watching....you should be ashamed of yourself....Yes, I mean you. |

Why should this worry you?
It is a *work* computer....they can monitor it if they want to and would be within their rights.
Just take a peek at the other threads about who surfs for pornographic material while at work and you might start to get why a school would monitor computer usage.... |

It's very easy to download a few programs to get rid of any spyware or monitoring software. Spybot, Ad-aware and A-Squared Free are all good.
One way you might notice monitoring software is to press Ctrl + Alt + Delete and check the processes tab, you can do a search on google to identify each process and you might find spyware.
Btw I'd consider monitoring software on a computer to be unacceptable, if they don't trust you with a computer, why do they trust you with children? |

They don't. That's why there are cameras in the classroom. |

Very different issues. Also...read the threads on teachers saying they surf for porn with the office computer....!
By the way, if you think computer monitoring is unnacceptable...better get ready to feel that way for a long time because more and more employers back home and here are doing just that....they keep tabs on employee usage of the Internet during work hours....with just cause I might ad. |
