I was interested in making strawberry shortcake for my in-laws. Does anyone know where I can find little individual cakes that are at least somewhat similar to what we'd use in the states?
Thanks,

There are different types of shortcake. Some people use pound cake and others use biscuits. If your In-Laws are Korean, just use a fresh bread or biscuits found at any descent bakery. Another option is to find a recipe that you like and give it to them at the bakery. I have found that many shops are willing to do new recipes for me. Where are you getting strawberries this time of the year? I personally would wait until the june season. The strawberries are larger and sweeter. |

You can buy pound cake at any of the bakeries. I've only bought it once, cuz it was around 9000 won!! If you've got an oven, it's easy to make yourself. |
