Does anyone know where the YMCA in Suwon is and how I would go about getting information to take Korean classes there?

Yep......here's the e-mail address you want: [email protected]. I sent an e-mail about a month ago and was told that they were waiting for more recruits to start a new beginners class. I'll probably see you there when it does start. By the way (as you can see) it's the YWCA, not YMCA.

Do you know if there are any weekend Korean classes in Suwon? Or anywhere near the area?? Is there a fee? Is it FREE!

Just wondering. Thanks in advance!

I believe I don't understand your post. Perhaps you should follow the information posted above you and take a precious 2 seconds to use your reading skills....

Suwon-Yongtong-Dong (you do know what a dong is right?)
YWCA
Saturday
beginner and intermediate Korean
Winter classes start early January

You want it for free...teach yourself. There is a fee, it's not much, don't be a cheapskate.

No problem. Just send an e-mail to Kyung Hee at that address. I have a friend that is currently taking the beginners course and she says that it's really good. I don't know the exact cost, but I was told it's not expensive. I'm going to be back in Canada for the first 3 weeks of January, so I'm hoping they'll let me join in a few weeks late.

I don't have any problems with paying a fee for the class. I was just saying if it were, or not...yes or no. Since there is a free class in Seoul, I just thought I'd ask.

But it sounds and looks good from the posts!
