A new advertisement tonight on channel 52 (just saw it while watching K1-ad break)....
For "Xi Community" (unsure what they are selling)...
But they have two pretty Korean woman walking around an apartment or something...
They have chosen this lovely, catchy song for the background music, in which the Western lady singing says (quote) "...and makes me want to kill myself....."
Absolutely classic. I wonder if/when they will pull that ad. |

That's been on Sky Life for a couple of months. Hasn't been pulled yet. As if Koreans care what something means...only what they think it means.
The song sounds nice. So'll they'll be idiots and keep it.
Kind of reminds me of the pizza place close to where I lived that served Pizza a c0ck.
I told the waitresses, I told the owner. They didn't care. |

Yep,nice tune,they don't care.Don't try to ping Koreans on details,you won't get anywhere.

A lot of western pop songs are used here in Korea. The James Blunt one for sure.

| God, the lyrics in that song suck. I think the songwriter was f-ed up when she wrote that. I'm guessing they were trying to evoke some sense of dreaminess with that ad, but the music just makes me think of a bunch of ppl sitting around toking it up listening to stuff like the Cocteau Twins. Man, I hate that ad~ |
