Was going to visit some art galleries with my date tomorrow but they're all closed on Mondays, so we decided to make our own art. Is there anywhere to go in Seoul where they provide daily art sessions? For example, back home I could pay to sit in and sketch a life drawing, or work with clay in a classroom/studio setting. Anything like this exist here? |

Hmmm, I'l have to look.
Still no one seems to know of a class though.
My guess is, you'd have to be enrolled in an art school somewhere. |

I don't know about classes, but I noticed a paint-your-own pottery place in Insadong when I was buying Christmas presents the other day. It's along the right hand side of the street as you come from Jongno. It's on the ground floor of the 3 story building that is all little art shops and is currently decorated with Andy Warhol stuff. You need to get off the street and into the courtyard of the building. Once in the courtyard, you should look up and see a lot of open umbrellas suspended above you. The shop is tucked in the far righthand corner, under the stairs.
Sorry about how vague the directions are. Best I can do. Hopefully there are enough clues here for you to figure it out. |

Ah yes, thanks Woland. I know exactly where you mean - the art complex with the spiral ramp to the top? I'll check it out. Anyone else have any clues for drawing, painting, or pottery? |
