When is the last day to post xmas cards back to Australia and have them arrive around XMAS day (but not after)? Im living in Shihung City near Bucheon.

With airmail there's unlucky to be any specific "last day" as such. All I know is that I'll need to send cards etc before the end of this week to realistically expect them to arrive before Christmas. But I'm sending mine to England - my guess is that for Australia you can add a few more days.

I sent a letter back home and they told me it would arrive with in 2-4 weeks, if it doesn't get lost Shocked

1st class airmail takes 7-10 days usually.

Actually, from Asia mail generally gets to Australia faster than to Europe.

I send things to both continents regularly, often at the same time, and they always turn up in Australia first.

I would say definitely by the end of the week - no later than that. Things seem to take longer coming into Korea than going out.

By "add a few days", I mean you can extend the period that you have to send the card/package for a few more days. As Australia is closer to Korea than England, and has closer links in many areas, it is only natural that letters to Australia will arrive quicker Smile
