Rubbish. Read this account from Wookieepedia and then tell me you that the similarities between the Destruction of Alderaan and 9/11 are mere coincidence:
Aftermath of the Blast____________________________
"I felt a great disturbance in the Force, as if millions of voices suddenly cried out in terror and were suddenly silenced. I fear something terrible has happened." Obi-Wan Kenobi
The destruction of Alderaan failed in its psychological goal. Wiping out a peaceful, idyllic paradise caused great anger, even in the Core Worlds. The failure of the Empire to conceive an appropriate cover story only furthered the anger of many citizens. They did attempt to pin the destruction of Alderaan on the Rebel Alliance; however, few believed them. Rather than cow the galaxy before Palpatine, whole systems would soon revolt. The fall of the Galactic Empire had begun.
After the destruction of the Death Star, many systems not under military Imperial control either declared neutrality or joined the Alliance to Restore the Republic.

Is the Galactic Empire the imperialistic United States or the conglomeration of fundamentalist and militaristic Muslim rogue states? |

Obviously, the US is the Galactic Empire, Cheney is Palpatine, Rumsfeld was Vader, and Bush is one of those inconsequential grand Moff guys. The Rebel Alliance is the fundamentalist muslims as well as the dudes who know the score with the conspiracy. Bin Laden is Lando Calrissian, Steve Jones is Han Solo, the Iranian government is Chewie, Dr Judy Wood is Leia, Alex Jones is Obi-Wan, and Luke is Dylan Avery. The other two Loose Change idiots are C3PO and R2D2.
Open your eyes. |

Well. Those guys certainly don't look happy.
I voted impact & fire because I'm tired of all the conspiracy theory vids. |

There was a fire at my high school today, and for about twenty minutes I was trapped on the (5th floor...) balcony with some students because the thick black smoke that filled the stairways was too much to go through ...
It was also snowing rather heavily while this was going on, and it appeared to me like the alien forces of darkness were employing sophisticated weather-control tactics to mask their malevolent presence as they zeroed in on one their prime targets for destruction (me, of course... - I've been getting too close to the truth in my internet postings... ) |
