This is no bullsh*t, so pay close attention.

If you ever, ever see anything you like at a decent price, buy all of them/it right NOW. Don't hesitate even to look around and see if anyone has noticed this fundamental anomaly in the Matrix. Just grab the sh*t, take it to the counter, post haste, and slap down the green with a resounding "In yo face, b*tch!" slap on the counter.

You think I jest?

Wait one week, one day, one hour....Hell, ONE MINUTE....as soon as Koreans realize that someone wants that sh*t they're gonna jack up the price 600% (that's not an estimate) and then they're gonna advertise it as the next cure for cancer and every motherf*cker on the peninsula is gonna be pokin' out eyes to get at it.

Along the same vain, if I owned a store in Korea, I would hire some women to stand in front of the merchandise and act really excited, and talk loudly. This would be a sure way to get other women to stop, as they would instantly think it was a great deal.

Perhaps that applies to your grandma in good ole hicksville who rampaged through Walmart to get something(remember the Cabbage Patch Doll?) but here in Korea where even my dad who is approaching 70 uses Internet to check the price for everything, only fool like you will fall for that sh*t. Go ahead and grab as much as you can.

So what did you buy today?

Or are you kicking yourself for not buying something yesterday?

When Korea FINALLY realized that LIQUID laundry soap was a good thing, I was in my local E-Mart and spotted it. I said (out loud...to myself) "FINALLY! This stuff is great!" and picked up a bottle. A Korean woman, who was looking at laundry products IMMEDIATLY went over to look at it and picked up a bottle herself! Guess I'm responsible for making ACTZ a profit! Laughing

Your 70 year old dad uses the internet to buy western goods like dried cranberries, dill pickles, tortillas, bacon, and BBQ ribs? Rolling Eyes

On the other hand, your Jackie Chan, Hong Kong Kung-fu dialect brings a smile to my face. Thanks for trying, though. Laughing

Not exactly the same, but I am the proud owner of about 4 years worth of olive oil.
I used to live in Greece, I live by this stuff.
I was in the store, and the, "Filippo Berio", 34 fl Oz, (1 qt 2 FL OZ)- 1 liter as it says on the bottle, was 2,340 won a bottle. Regular (correct) price, about 9,800 won. I have 10 bottles. Some people would say that's dishonest. I think it was a great deal.

Why in the hell would anyone say that's dishonest?

Hehe, that made me laugh. I thought I was the only one who did stuff like that. Last year I bought 13 blocks of tasty Australian cheese at an E-mart, because they'd been marked down from 9,900 won to 2000won. An great deal indeed, cheaper than at home.

"Why in the hell would anyone say that's dishonest?"

My ex-wife for one....lol.

I did have a small concern that the employer who goofed up the prices might have to end up paying the difference....but that concern went away when I realized I had CORNERED THE OLIVE OIL MARKET!!!!!

My philosophy is a little different. When I find something I want and am willing to pay the price, I buy ALL of it that is available. This is based on the observation that there is no telling when the supply will be renewed, so HOARD while the getting is good.

Exactly. The dog bones that I buy for my pup are usually W3000. One day they rang up (accidentally?) as W1000 on the register, so I grabbed them all.

Bank error in your favor. Collect $100.

Remember when that chick in that show had $1000 deposited into her account by mistake, and she didn't want to keep it? Bull. Sh*t. When an opportunity comes knocking at your door, take it. And for Korea, that goes triple.

Exactly. I love watching that at the market or Supermarket, wherever...just because there's crowd, the old Ajummas crowd and grab. SnakeOil would make a goldmine here, certainly the Wellbeing Snake Oil would.
