Well I, for one, would be much more inclined to submit to feminism if they wore bikinis.

Well, you are getting better. We have gone from huge news full stop, to huge news in OZ. Ok, that is fine.

But yeah, in Oz it is news, though I dunno huge news. As it should be. Australia is the one nation in the West that is actually standing up to the cultural imperialism of the islamists.

In fact, this weekend Australian women are protesting muslim views on women by standing outside of mosques in swimsuits. Now that is feminism! Not pissing and moaning about government handouts al la Canada and the so-called "pink book" but focusing on actual, physical threats to their safety and advancement. How novel, eh?

I'm sure gawping wide-eyed at bikini-clad ladies would be your ideal encounter with feminism. Wink

I never "gawp" (if that means stare) at women. I find it makes them uncomfortable and as such is rude. I'm the ultimate man-feminist, bb, you would be quite surprised. I'm able to enjoy a nice-lookin girl without being a perv.

And most especially if they whipped off their bikini bras and defiantly burnt them right there in front of you...?

Who am I to stand in the way of how they define progress?

Ah, don't cry. I promise that if you walked by me, I wouldn't even notice you at all.

What's this Year 7 to Year 10 stuff? Unless Australians have a weird way of expressing age, it refers to their grade in school...so these boys are something like 12 to 15.

I'd put it as 11-15 - depending when in the school year they have their birthdays. The boys concerned are in year 7 and 9. So they'd be between 11 and 14.

Actually Ya-ta, I was going by my Queensland friends who said they graduate year 12 at age 17. Apparently in some other states they leave year 12 at age 18. So you may be right that the boys involved are 12 - 15.

Kids (to a degree) are kids. Sensationalist headlines aside, this is the issue:

Quote:
Anxious teachers at the school have also petitioned principal Shaheem Doutie, expressing "grave concern" about an "inculcation of hatred and radical attitudes towards non-Muslims" at the school, including towards non-Muslim teachers.

Isn't prejudice/discrimination learned???

It is especially learned well when taught in the madras.
