I mentioned I'd be doing this a few months ago. I'll be playing classic reggae, rocksteady, ska, and dub from my collection. The other guy will be spinning Northern Soul.
Friday, December 8
11:00pm until the subways open
drink specials TBA
5000 won
Come in from the cold and mash up the place.

| Good to hear people are interested. We haven't worked out the drink specials yet but it'll be a good deal more generous than the usual 5000 won for a beer at DGBD. |

As an old rocksteady trad in PDX, I may come out and relive my early youth a bit. This sounds like one hell of a time.
Friday is payday and my hogwan is closed for the weekend (unusual for my hogwan). I may have to use my 4 days to get out of Seoul, but this is plan A otherwise!
Hope to see some of you. Look for the 6'2" large white guy with an upper ear piercing. I wish I had some of my old threads to gear up.  |

I have news on the drink specials.
From 11:00pm to 1:00am, beers are 2000 won
From 1:00am to closing, beers are 3000 won
No "free beer with entry" because I figure this is better savings for the real drinkers out there.
It's a good deal considering DGBD usually sells them for 5000 won. |

| We're taking turns through the whole night. I'm starting from 11:00 to 11:30, then I'm doing an hour-long set starting around 12:30 to 1:30, and we're going to trade off hour sets for the rest of the night. |
