How far is the Hwajeong subway station from Lake Park and La Festa? I got a 6-month offer from a Hagwon near the Hwajeong station, and I want to make sure it's in a decent location. |

Hwajong is cool, lived there for over a year when I first came here. Its around 5 or 6 stops to Jeongbalsan where you'll find La Festa/Lake park, 15 or so minutes on the tube. There is a substantial foreigner population in Hwajong itself and all the usual ammenities. Feel free to ask if you want any more info. |

if accommodation is included ask them put you up in La Festa if you really want to be in the heart of things. Otherwise if you have to live in Hwajeong it's no big deal - 10 - 15 minutes on bus as previous poster has said. |

Its only 4 stops. It will take you 10 minutes.
Hwajeong -> Daegok -> Baekseok -> Madu -> Jeongbalsan
The area around Hwajeong station is pretty standard with a department store, fast food, family restaurants, etc. |
