Just don't make the mistake of going after one whose family is into the Martial Arts, and own a school. She will hit you, and call you a "bad dog" after she cons you into marriage. You'll just be a punching bag for her daily practice routine.

Ok, This is probably a very shallow thing for me to post but I am wanting information about korean ladies before i arrive in korea so i know what to expect.
1. Are they attracted to westerners?
2. How many dates before hitting it out of the ball park?
3. Are they as sensitive as I have read
Any other information would be welcomed.
I know im a shallow chauvanist but please help me.

"What Korean Women Want?"
From: Hee-jin, 26
I have dated older men, younger men, Korean men, and foreign men. In fact, my last two boyfriends were foreigners. Its funny, I broke up with my last boyfriend, who was an English teacher from Canada so that I could go out with this French guy in my office.

My Canadian boyfriend was really upset, but I don't care that much. It's not that he was a bad guy; it was just that he didn't understand that in Korea, there are some things a boyfriend must do for his girlfriend.

One of these is paying "pocket money." Every one of my ex-boyfriends, except him, always paid me "pocket money." It wasnt that much, maybe only 200,000 won per week but it showed that they loved and really cared for me. My new French boyfriend is great; he pays for everything and gives me "pocket money." I think that French guys really understand what women want!"

Women Take 11 Months After First Meeting to Have Sex
"How long after you meet a guy for the first time does it take you to have sex?" One Internet survey on this question has yielded an average answer of 11 months. Meanwhile, regarding women's understanding of birth control, the survey turned up that 27 percent of women use no birth control at all when having sex, and 33 percent have experienced having an abortion.

Kid Crunch Millions of Koreans have decided that raising children is too tough
While experts argue that the availability of birth control and abortion is not a direct cause of the low birthrate, one can assume that the issues are not unrelated, since an average of 2 million abortions take place in Korea annually, making the country's abortion rate one of the highest in the world. One out of four (24.1%) married women in Korea who are fertile have had at least one abortion, according to the Korea Institute for Health and Social Welfare.

Pocket money? Wow, that's a new one. She must have just got lucky.

Actually, the K girls who sleep with you on the first date aren't really worth it. Most of the K girls like to take time.

Most also want guys around their age, say 0-3 years older. However, I'm in my 30's and have dated 20 somethings before.

Depends on what you're here for, too. If you like to shag, then head to Hongdae or Itaewon.

doesnt this undermine any concept of equality here? Really, how can someone complain about women's poor treatment here, or acting like a slave to their husband, when their biggest complaint about a past boyfriend is he didnt give her money? if i was that canadian guy, i would be happy she left. really, as soon as another guy comes along with more money, she is out the door anyways.

Rule of thumb - If you have no problem meeting women in your home country you'll have no problem meeting Korean women.

I agree with R-Seoul, if you can`t get lucky at home then it will be " same-same "here. The woman who was taking " pocket money "( you want short time or long time ) from these guys must have a penchant for picking insecure, wealthy individuals. I am in my 50`s and have had no problems dating women here in ther 30`s and even late 20`s.

Speaking as an unattractive person, I find that, like back home, you can land someone if you're willing to be patient, persistent, and put in the work.

Let the players play. You gotta huff it if you wanna lay.

*sigh*

I asked one of the mods about a month ago if I could make a sticky with a link to every 'Korean women' type thread I could find, but was told it would be a bad idea because it would fuel netzien hatred.

But imagine all the trouble we could have saved horny newbies (they could find the info they need fast) and horny veterans (they wouldn't have to type out the same messages again and again and again.

So again: *sigh*

Jeez. ask your question don't be so afraid to get flamed. If some loser has nothing better to do than spout off on you that's their problem not yours.

Based on my experiences and the experiences of the foreigners I know here, stay away from K girls. There's a fair amount of foreign girls here, although it is its own insular community, at least you somewhat understand them. And unless you're not into breasts and ass Korean girls aren't all that hot (as an average) definitely some hotties out there, but that brings me back to point A.
