The researchers that found that there is no link between marijuana and lung cancer have suggested that maybe it kills aging cells before than turn cancerous. That explanation really got people opposed to the use of marijuana worried because it can be understood as suggesting that marijuana prevents cancer.

Interesting ... such a gift of creation.

Pity we have such corrupt wordly forces dictating, imposing & prohibiting.

Tobacco is obviously a terrible drug. Nothing wrong with pot though.

Care to explain?

Sorry to hear that you need that explained. Tobacco has be shown scientifically to have a very strong correlation with lung cancer.

But the most serious and up to date studies cannot find much wrong with pot. Ive been through this on the board so many times. I always win. The anti pot faction is simply not informed.

Tobacco use is NEGATIVELY CORRELATED with Parkinson's and Alzheimer's.

It's unmistakably good for the brain.

So what's YOUR excuse for not smoking?

Because I think lung cancer would be far far worse than Parkinsons or Alzheimers...

It is true that nicotine is at worst a very addictive harmful drug.

However, the chemicals produced by burning plant material at low temperatures are a lethal cocktail. I would be surprised if there is no cancerous effect of marijuana smoke. It typically has a much higher concentration of tar than tobacco smoke as well.

Agreed. I like being high while teaching. It makes me funnier. And I take things less seriously. I also sleep better. I hope my doctor is high when he performs a serious operation on me. I'm sure it will be less stressful for him.

<joke> (I know you meant responsible use of pot, which I also have little or no problem with)

Sometimes when driving if I gigle too much too much the wheel pulls to the left.

To correct for that I think extremely paranoid thoughts.
