Hey,
My ARC is gonzo. Looked all over for it. I am flying out next Friday. What do I have to do to replace it? Do I need to have a police report, or do I just go to immigration?
Thanks!

Just go to immigration with your passport and 10k won. Fill in the application and you are good as gold. Done while you wait. |

Nope. They just print off a new card same as the old one. They have it digitally saved on the computer system. |

You could always meet a fellow whitey in a drinking establishment...get him all sauced up....follow him out behind the building and beat him within an inch of his motherlovin life and take his ARC card...all white people look the same to Koreans... Or you could have your Korean comrades take care of this situation |

The same just happened to me today. Searched everywhere for it, no luck. Went to immigration, filled out the form, handed them 10,000. No photos needed. They did ask me to write a letter stating how I lost it though.
The whole process only took about 10 minutes.
Now, I am on my way to Thailand, YEE HAW!!! |

I just went on Friday (to Immi in Incheon) with a co-worker who had lost his ARC and they are making him come back to pick it up. He asked if they could just mail it or send it "taek-bae", but no dice. |

though luck dude. A year ago I lost mine a day before flying to japan. Went to immy, they told me it normally took 3 days to make a new one but "Please wait, we'll see what we can do". 3 minutes later I had a new card, and have never talked shit about immi since (well almost never). |
