| Does anyone know if non-residents can just walk into a hotel and use their sauna? Obviously after asking first and presumably paying a fee |

Bro...hit it up...its the greatest thing going in Korea. My first year I went quite often. If I can give you any advice its this: DONT GO ON SUNDAY! Unless you like being stared at by kids....We get looked at enough here but when your naked in the sauna, wooosh...your like Pamela Anderson walking into a bar at home, everyone is looking.
Most of them are 24 hours so if you go after work in the evening during the week they tend to be quite dead. Look for the high end ones, they only cost a few bucks more but are well worth it.
Enjoy

| it depends on the hotel -- just call and ask the front desk. i've used the one at the renaissance and lotte and just paid a 15,000 won fee or so. |

Most have a higher rate for non-guests, and some don't allow non-guests at all.
There are 목욕탕s that only charge about W4,000. |

| I tried to go in the Hamilton (or whatever the huge hotel is) in Itaewon and they said only guests could access the sauana. Not sure about other places. Why do you want a hotel's sauna instead of a regular one? |

Don't think so. Can you read Korean? You have to look for the signs that say 찜질방. Or 사우나. They don't always have pictures on the signs. You could probably ask your boss or someone to tell you where one is, as well. |
