I've always been exclusively heterosexual, but certainly no gay-basher.
Que er as Folk was a favorite, but I can't find it now, except on DVD, and I'm too homophobic to buy it.
I'd like to watch it, but don't want anyone seeing it in my shopping cart. Perhaps Ebay.
And all you homos, please re-tune your Gay-dar. Stop hitting on me!
I've often thought that if I were bisexual, I'd double or triple my chances of scoring on any given night.
But I'm just not interested. |

I think for men to be casual Homosexual is really out of the case for me. I hate being constipated I don't think I could take anything being shoved up there.. Sorry thats a one way street.
I think its a lot different for women because
1. There is No penetration and sexual arousal is achieved much differently.
2. Women tend to be more emotionaly needy and will seek comfort where ever they can. Men are a very different.
I'm sure people will disagree with me but this is the way I see it. |

Wasn't Kinsey a keen disciple of Aleister Crowley's & a pedophile?
No, i don't mean Hollywood's "we project it, you believe it" Liam Neeson version either. |

I rated myself as a 6. My few youthful indiscretions and my even fewer thoughts since then about a given woman aside, I figure 20 years of sex exclusively with men puts me in that category. I mean, a straight man who diddled a guy when he was 16 and who's thought once or twice that he could stand getting a knobber by some guy could justifiably peg himself as a 0, right? If the consensus of the thread is otherwise, I'll amend my rating to 5.
Wrench, though, brings up an interesting point that is little understood by most straight people, at least male ones. The broad tendency is to think of male homosexuals in terms of men who like to have a schwanz put into one of their orifices. The reality is much more layered than that. There's an old joke that has a gay man saying, "Yeah, I'm bisexual -- I go top or bottom."
The idea Tops and Bottoms was an odd one to me when I learned of it. In my day, we pretty much did it all, variety being the spice of our lives, but as I got older I began to meet guys who would ONLY do one or the other. It seemed and still seems pretty odd to me, but I've had to accept the fact that there are lots of gay men whose alimentary canals are strictly a one-way passage, and who -- even more odd to me -- don't particularly enjoy the active role in man-on-man oral sex. Yes, you heard me right -- there are men who don't like to give head or be on the receiving end of anal sex but who still consider themselves to be gay men, by virtue of their having no interest in putting their schwanzes into a woman. And the opposite is true -- I've met gay men who get nauseous at the idea of putting their schwanz into any hole at all.
And then the shades of bi. The bi men who are only tops with men, and the bi men who are only bottoms. Whatever. Okay. It takes all kinds, I guess, and I guess we have to respect their tastes and their self-labeling.
As for me, I still don't get it. There's still a part of me that believes that the only real gay men are the ones who do it all. That is, what's the point of having a schwanz if you aren't going to put it in something, and what's the point of being a gay man if you aren't going to ride (or lick) the baloney pony?
Pardon me if all this is far too much information, but I find the gradations of sexuality to be a fascinating topic, and while I find Kinsey's scale to be about the best one going, even within those categories, there exist shades of black, white and gray.
And, gang ah ... I hope you realize that you've broken my heart and that I'll never again be able to play Truth or Dare. Well, I'll never be able to play it again without thinking (wistfully) of you. |

I agree 100%. I can be top, bottom, or anything in between with my partner. I used to be exclusively top, though, until I tried being the receptive partner. I didn't know what I was missing
