Here's a juicy one for all you tech-heads out there. I've had my old PC components shipped over from home and I want to update the AGP graphics card.
I have an ASROCK K7S8X motherboard (SIS 746FX chipset). Currently it has the ATI Radeon 9200 installed. Not bad, but getting a bit outdated. Does anyone know what decent cards are compatible with my board?
The AGP slot supports up to 1.5V 4x/8x cards. I feel a trip to Yongsan is definitely on the cards, so any useful advice beforehand would be much appreciated.

Thanks if you can help

What is your price range? If you can afford it, go with the factory overclocked 7800 GS:

What is your PSU at? You'll probably want to beef that up as well....if you are going higher end with the GPU.

Does look quite good but sadly, it is out of my price range. Would 100,000won get me anything halfway decent? Do you mean my Power Supply Unit? I'm not sure because I have to buy a new one of those too.
Basically, I only have the mobo, the old graphic card, Heatsink, and newtowrk card. This is going to be my little project for a couple of weeks.

100,000WON? Shocked Done.

Buy the 7300GT. It should run you between 88,000 and 100,000WON. It's a great card. I recently put together a PC for a fellow EFL teacher here and he says it is purring like a kitten. Definitely snag the 7300GT. As for the power supply (PSU) grab a 400watt. This shouldn't run you more than 30,000WON (for the bottom of the line type). Your system is not high-end so you won't need a high end PSU.

I think the GT is the PCIe line, you'll want the 7300GS, I'm pretty sure.

It's not a "think" thing. Check the link.

As my man Chief Wiggum likes to say: "Nice work, boys". The card looks truly smoking indeed for the price!
