Were you caught for doing privates in the past, or is this some nutsy backing-out tactic?

I think this is a backing out tactic, or it could be that they contacted a previous employer for reference, who has sadly put a smear campaign on you.

Try applying for another position elsewhere and see what happens. I doubt you have been barred from Korea without knowing about it. If immi had a thing about you doing privates whenever it was, they would have let you know at the time.

the school probably just hired a cheaper teacher and found a credible excuse to back out of the agreement.

If you do have your private work on your resume, take it off. Schools may not hire you because of this.

Unless you have been to Immi jail or warned in the past by Immi for doing privates, I'd assume they would have no idea who you are or what you did before. Nor would they care.

I think that the OP is full of BS. He has not commented if he was caught before. I think that it is another bogus thread.

I too wonder about PIMP. I think that he has personified some kind of alter-ego. I would wager that he is not even in Korea nor married. He sounds and acts like some 17 year old wannabe.
