I'm trying to find a post office in Daechi-dong. I've only recently moved here and haven't been able to locate one yet. I've scoured my neighborhood and conducted google searches but to no avail. No one in my office goes to the post office and maps appear to be merely a curiosity to the Koreans I've met. Is there a tourist info. site that has that type of information?

Post offices are everywhere. Take a pen and a blank piece of paper to your local LG25 or whatever and ask them to draw you a map.

Daechi is a pretty big area with a few post offices. Which subway station do you live near?

I used to live there. There's one right inside the Eunma apartment complex. That is supposedly an upscale neighborhood, but Eunma Town is full of roaches...my students even heard it was. I saw at least one roach a day in my place for 7 months that year.

We (Hoss and I) live closer to Hanti than Daechi, but they are both within 5-7 min walk.

Actually - speaking of post offices - I have a huge letter to send. How do I go about it? Standard envelope and get stamps there? Tell them where it's going and be told the price?? Silly silly question to ppl who have been here but as a recent arrival it is, like pretty much everything else, a bit of a puzzle at first..
