To me, one of the coolest parts of traveling is trying out new snacks and candy. Which one is your favorite in Korea?
Mine is the chamssal (참쌀), though a coworker said it's actually called 쌀과자 (ssal gwaja) or 'rice snack'. It's very crispy, puffed rice with a sweet and slightly salty taste. I used to buy it a lot from an Asian grocery back in North Carolina, but didn't realize what it was.
Here's the best pic I could find:

(boo.. link not working..)
Also, gotta give it up for those cookie tubes with chocolate in the center. Mmm.. nice. |

| the green bag of those korean "doritos"... used to be doritos, now they call 'em "nachos", i think. it's supposed to be pizza flavoured, but it's the closest thing to a cool-ranch zip that i've found over here. |

| Those chocolate coated Digestive crackers/cookies dipped in insta-coffee. It's not so popular now as it used to be. I used to eat that ALL the time. Good stuff, I'm tell'n ya.... |

I love the Pepero sticks that are inside out, you know, chocolate filled tubes instead of chocolate dipped sticks. Super yummy. Those and I am addicted to the chicken curry croquettes from Paris Baquette. |

| ABC chocolates- good quality. Never thought of Korean as being a good chocolate producer, but I have to be very careful not to eat the whole bag- not once have I been able to eat just one... |

I eat a small bag at work each day as a snack. No MSG, unless I've translated the package wrong but possibly a bit of transfat.
I'm eating garlic bread at the moment. |
