| Hi there, My boyfriend and I want to take advantage of the discount Youth Eurail pass which visits 18 countries in Europe. We would have about 2 months to do a tour like this - but we are not sure about how much we should budget for each day. We will be able to go in the off season (April and May) so we save money there, and we're big fans of camping, so we hope to save money that way too. We're also not likely to spend time in the pubs, and we can survive on supermarket food! We just want to see a few of the major sites that each country has to offer. Has anyone done a trip like this before that can give us an idea about what a couples budget would be? Thanx so much! Your help is appreciated! |

It depends on what countries you choose to visit. 2 months you say? You'd be better off picking two or three countries and buying a regional pass. Most countries in Europe could probably keep you busy for at least 1 month.
