A radical palestine terrorist turns to Christ for salvation. Witness the power of Christ's love. |

I'd be more impressed if he turned to science and rationality and away from mysticism and imaginary friends. |

Jesus is apparently NUMBER #2 ( next only to Mohammed ), according to the Muslim theological paradigm |

true.
Now I can't watch the video (at work) but two things popped into my head:
1. The video title said palestinian, you said muslim. Maybe the man was a xtian to begin with? (probably says in the video).
2. As IGTG noted, Jesus is considered a prophet in Islam so not a big stretch for this dude to really dig jesus. |

He's a former terrorist/ bomber who was raised from birth to hate jews.

Probably a big stretch for him to change from trying to kill jews to admitting they were in Israel first and that Palestinians originate from elsewhere though.. |

Well yeah, but the OP's whole motivation was this man found christ, not the fact that he has changed his ways. |

You can't find Christ without changing and that is the point of the show. |

Curious perspective on history you have there. This my perspective: The Israelis invaded those lands to establish Israel back in biblical times (you can even read about it in the old testament). At the time, it was ALREADY inhabited by Canaanites. The Canaanites and their descendants CONTINUED to reside there long after the Israelis had gone (about 2000 years ago). Sometime between then and now, along came some Arabs and intermarried with the indigenous population. The present palestinians are descended from these 2 lineages. So where (according to Rapier) did the Palestinians originate from then?
Laying claim on a territory based on your ancestors is very tricky business indeed. The continuous cross migration of humans throughout history means that your ancestors have probably been all over the place.
At some point in time, the ancestors of you and me and anyone else reading this post lived in Africa. Does that mean I have the right to return to Nigeria with my people and dispossess all the people now living there? Ho hum, I forgot YOU and your fellow colonial whitey friends already did something similar in "Rhodesia" right? LOL |

Aw, that's an easy one. He's already stated here in the past that they should all go back to Turkey.... |

You will notice that the Palestinian interviewed says that his people trace their ancestry to Greece, Egypt and morrocco. they originate from the surrounding Arab world- about 150 times the size of israel.
Also, just out of interest..the Phillistines are not the same as modern day palestinians, as often mis-stated.
"the Philistines who appeared in Canaan ca. 1200 BCE and disappeared ca. 600 BCE and who were not Semites and never displaced the Israelites"
http://www.jhfc.duke.edu/fhi/events/seminar_series/2004archeo_meyers.php
The Israelites first invaded sometime between 1600 B.C. and 1300 B.C.

The jews have held the longest unbroken presence in that land. God first promised israel to the Jews some 4000 years ago. A bit longer than you've been in the US or wherever I take it- where you displaced the indigenous people. On the other hand, Palestinians live freely in Israel now.Jews have also retained their language and culture unchanged in that time, and did not intermarry much with the surrounding peoples. Seems a pretty good claim to me.
The name Palestine originated from the Greek word pronounced Palaistina, which is derived from the Hebrew word pronounced pel-eh-sheth, meaning land of the Philistines (one of the most famous of whom was Goliath). The original word referred only to a small coastal territory corresponding to what is today Gaza, never to all of the land of Jacob, which God renamed Israel in the Bible. In modern times, the accepted meaning of Palestine was again greatly inflated after the First World War. Britain, which then held control of the land of Israel under a mandate of the League of Nations, revived the name as an official title for practically all of the land - from Dan to Beersheba, and from the Mediterranean to the Jordan River. And so it has been ever since.
So Interested..wherever you're from, your ancestors highly likely, haven't been there nearly as long as the Jews have been in Israel. Unless you're an Australian Aborigine- I'm guessing you're not. |

So long as you sit in judgement over whites in Africa, it would seem fair. |
