Saddam had a great security service . Over the years the US has had ZERO success in combating mid east regimes or groups that were hostile to the US.
A coup against Saddam had as much chance as a coup against Kim Il Sung.
The US CIA is completely outclassed by the security services of mid east nations. |

The Cold War was actually all about stability.
This hot war in the Middle East is not.
I think that's a poor comparison. You are reaching here. |
