"Korea has four seasons."
"There are four seasons in Korea."
etc.

Pffft, we Canadians have a fifth season -- hockey season. Beat that.

In my case this statement is especially annoying. I majored in Korean Studies, have lived in Korea for four years and conducted field research for my BA and MA theses while I was there. Yup, I know nothing about Korean culture. Thank you for pointing that out, Mr Kim. *^^* (Nah, it's not that bad. I'm just joking!)

What I really don't want to hear is either of these, depending on the situation:

I'm pregnant and you are the father!

or

I'm pregnant and you are not the father!

"You like gimchi (or insert any other traditional Korean item)! You must be Korean."

Funny, this doesn't work when you insert K-girls.

At Home: What do you mean you're finished?
In Thailand: Go with you?

I'm sorry, it's not possible (even though I asked you 10 times before, made a booking for a flight, and now you're telling me it's not possible 1 week before flying??)
I have a promise.
I need to prepare a cake/a car/ a pencil etc. etc.
I need to make a plan.
Actually,..........
Balli-wah (I heard this yelled out at Hong Kong airport by a 10 year old to his family so they could be first in line with 30 mins still to go before check in)

I think they need to change some textbook language, it just doesn't sound natural at all.
