I have to point out that I know of at least 5 instructors who were shafted on pay repeatedly.. but it was a below average branch of CDI.

It would be best to tattoo this sentence somewhere painful so that you can remember it for all eternity. To me, this was the real killer. What's the point in coming to a country if you are only going to spend your time in the offices of some corporate structure like CDI. When you go home, you can tell your friends that you enjoyed your trip to CDI.

I've tried it and I'm happy to knock it. Still there are many far worse schools out there than CDI. Just that CDI really isn't going to make you go home saying "Wow!" and that was the title of this thread right? |

yeah, that vacation bit was the most horrendous of them all. i've never had to work a xmas and a new year's day in my life. i was on the verge of going postal.
and the pay thing, yeah, i've heard some incidents of ppl gettin shafted. but for myself personally, and 98% of the people i know, pay was on time, every penny accounted for. i've heard worse stories from worse places.
and yeah, i'd knock it too. but hey, i didn't start this thread. i'd say it's a good start for a fresh outta college guy with no exp teaching. training's good, lotta people the same age, and the cash is decent, if you don't blow it all on ur housing.
company work ethic and morale is a completely different story however. |
